Hokuto: …It was no good after all.

I wasn’t able to find a first-year representative in the end. I was holding out hope that Tomoya would be available, but it seems he, or rather Ra*bits are pretty busy.

They’ve picked up momentum after their success during DDD and are now trying to take the next step forward.

This is an important time for them. I wouldn’t want to push unnecessary work onto him and increase his burdens.

That’s what I thought when I saw how energetic those kids were.

Ra*bits looked like they were having lots of fun while discussing what they should do next during their lesson.

It’s a good thing, too. Something like this would’ve been unimaginable last year. I’m almost jealous…

If those kids are able to enjoy their idol activities with smiles on their faces, it makes me think that maybe we didn’t cause all that trouble around school for nothing.

It’s rewarding. …But, it does feel as if a spoke has been stuck in the wheels for Project-Saga.

I was supposed to gather one representative from each grade, but…

It was never an absolute necessity. At this point, I should probably try to invite Yuuki or Isara from my grade.

It would probably have been better to find members I haven’t worked with before though.

…N? What’s wrong, transfer student? Do you have something to say?

You’re usually pretty silent, but I would appreciate it if you could at least acknowledge what I say. It makes me feel weird when I keep talking to myself like this.

Either way, what’s up? Please share whatever is on your mind. I’m totally at a loss about Project-Saga… I want any help I can get, even if it’s just clinging to straws.

Hm? You’re curious as to why I mentioned Yuuki and Isara, but not Akehoshi?

Even though I appear to be the closest to him out of everyone?

Do I really? I can never really get along with that guy, we always end up fighting.

…That is what makes us seem close? I wonder, I can’t really see it that way.

I can acknowledge him as an idol to a certain degree… but as a human, I can’t respect him. We’re like oil and water.

…Hm? Oh, I didn’t answer your question properly.

Before that, I wanna know. Do you… Uhm, it’s hard to formulate my question.

Have you heard of a different Akehoshi, aside from our comrade in Trickstar?

Hm. You look confused. Sorry for asking a weird question.

It’s a pretty sensitive topic. Not just for me, but probably for everyone…

Hm. It seems you don’t know anything about “that Akehoshi”.

It’s easy to forget since you’re such an outstanding producer, but you’re pretty much a complete beginner when it comes to idol knowledge.

It’s no wonder you wouldn’t have heard about “that Akehoshi”. We’re from a different generation, and it happened a long time ago.

Plus, the entertainment industry is desperate to make it seem like the incident never happened.

N? No, if you don’t know about it then it’s fine. It would be wrong for me to be the one to tell you. If you really want to know, you should ask Akehoshi himself about it.

Though it’s probably not something he wants to talk about either.

Anyhow, Project-Saga aims to revive idols from the past in order to revitalize the history of both idols and the entertainment world, right?

It will undoubtedly bring up topics from the past. I don’t want to get Akehoshi tangled up in that.

As you know, Akehoshi is energetic and bright and innocent, and gives off the energy of a main character who could never lose to anyone.

But he is carrying around something dangerous, a bomb that could easily be detonated.

I don’t know if Akehoshi as he is now could take it if that bomb blew up. And it would probably endanger the people around him, which I don’t think he would want.

We won DDD, and revolutionized Yumenosaki… Everything seems to be going smoothly, but in reality we’re still on thin ice.

Which is why I’d prefer to act carefully… does that make me a coward?

Fufu. Either way, Project-Saga is nothing more than a detour for us. We should focus on proceeding effectively, and not get stuck on small problems.

First we need to quickly finish collecting members.

To that end, I’ve called Morisawa-senpai, our most promising candidate for a third-year representative, to meet us here.

I plan to explain the project to him after this.

…Though senpai appears to be late for some reason.

I wonder what’s happened. He doesn’t seem like the kind of person who would break a promise without warning or break the rules like this.

I haven’t had any direct interactions with him myself, but I’m under the impression he is a serious honor student, right?

I can’t remember him causing any trouble last year either…

Or rather, it doesn’t seem like he was very involved in the war, so I don’t have much of an impression of him.

Hm. Akehoshi often talks badly about Morisawa-senpai. If he gets along badly with Akehoshi, then maybe he’d actually be a good match with me.
